BHEL bags Rs 11,800 cr order from Chhattisgarh genco

State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) announced on Friday that it has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL) for an order worth ?11,800 crore.

The order pertains to the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 2x660 MW Supercritical Thermal Power Plant at the Hasdeo Thermal Power Station in Korba.

As part of the contract, BHEL will be responsible for the design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply of critical equipment, as well as the complete erection, testing, and commissioning of the power plant.
