Equity benchmark indices opened in green on Monday as all sectors are trading higher.
Axis Bank, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance, Ultratech Cement, Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank, Wipro and L&T led the gains on the Sensex, while HDFC Bank, JSW Steel were among the losers.
On other hand, BPCL and Coal India were among top gainers on NSE Nifty 50 while Mahindra and Mahindra were among the top losers.
At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 73297.58 up by 209.25 points or by 0.29 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22246.5 up by 99.5 points or by 0.45 %.

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 9523.30,+1.66%), Wipro Ltd. (Rs. 460.35,+1.66%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1044.10,+1.42%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3565.15,+1.30%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1209.15,+1.29%), among others.
The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 347.85,-0.87%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1519.25,-0.79%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 2067.65,-0.73%), JSW Steel Ltd. (Rs. 863.10,-0.25%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 2938.20,-0.12%), among others.
The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 3243 , shares advanced were 2418 while 698 shares declined and 127 were unchanged.
